Bethany McLean

Bethany McLean is a freelance flutist and educator based out of the Rochester, NY area.  She is a substitute musician with the Billings Symphony Orchestra and has performed with the Regina Opera Orchestra in Brooklyn, NY.  Bethany values building a strong musical and technical foundation while allowing students to pursue their own interests within music.  She has an Artist Diploma in orchestral performance through the OAcademy fellowship program, a Masters of Music in classical flute performance from Manhattan School of Music, and a Bachelors of Music in flute performance from Ithaca College.  In her free time, Bethany enjoys baking and spending time with her cat, Bootsie.
