Hailey Bottoms
Voice, Piano, French Horn, Trumpet, Musiking, Beginner Band Instruments
Hailey has been playing piano and singing for over two decades. Her main band instruments are french horn and trumpet, which she has been playing since fifth grade. In college, she studied to be a teacher for English language arts, with a special concentration in theatre and performance. After graduation, she started teaching theatre at a middle/high school in Florida. She also helped with, and ultimately took over, the chorus program at her school and assisted with band instruction and lessons.
Before she moved, she taught music lessons at a studio in St Petersburg, Florida. When she moved to New York, she started getting into the theatre and chorus community here, while maintaining teaching private lessons. She has been teaching music lessons for almost ten years now, helping students refine their talents and build their repertoire and discipline, without sacrificing their love of music.
Currently, she performs as part of Fig and the Leaves at Renaissance Faires and in musicals as an actress, pianist, or french hornist as time permits. She participates in choirs and bands/symphonic orchestras as well. In her free time, she enjoys music composition and arrangement, including (but not limited to) creating student-friendly arrangements of well-known songs for instruction!
She is currently taking students for voice, piano, french horn, trumpet, musiking, and beginning band instruments.
