Performing Arts Music in Depew is thrilled to announce their Summer 2025 camps! This year, they’re putting on Les Misérables for ages 13-18 and High School Musical JR for ages 6-12. These fun and intensive camps are perfect for young performers looking to sing, act, and shine on stage!
Camp 1: Les Misérables (Ages 13-18)
Step into the world of the iconic musical Les Misérables! This camp is designed for students ages 13-18 who are ready to challenge themselves with one of the most beloved and powerful shows in musical theater history.
About the Camp
- Dates: June 30th – July 24th, Monday through Friday
- Time: 9 am to 2 pm daily
- Cost: $400 total, with a $50 deposit required at audition
- Performances: July 25th and 26th
- Spots Are Limited: Auditions are required, and all auditions will secure a spot in the camp.
Audition Details
Auditions are an exciting part of the process! Whether you’re aiming for a lead role or joining the ensemble, here’s what you need to know:
- Ensemble Auditions
Prepare a section of “Do You Hear the People Sing.” - Female Lead Roles
Choose either “I Dreamed a Dream” or “On My Own” to showcase your vocal talent. - Male Lead Roles
Choose either “Stars” or “Bring Him Home” to prepare for your audition. - Preparation: Students should learn all audition material provided on the Performing Arts Music website.

Camp 2: High School Musical JR (Ages 6-12)
Get your head in the game with High School Musical JR! Featuring upbeat songs and an engaging story, this camp is perfect for kids ages 6-12 who love to sing, act, and dance.

- Time: 9 am to 2 pm daily

- Song Prep: Prepare one song from the musical.
- Cold Read: Students will do a cold reading during the audition.

Registration Process
To register for either camp, a $50 audition fee is required at the time of registration. This fee ensures an audition time and also notifies the studio which school the student attends. Once the fee is paid, the Director will personally reach out to schedule the audition and guide families through the next steps.
